Not every team needs a launch service. Some need a payload certified for a flight they have already booked; some need an independent design review before a program milestone; some need a launch-readiness package assembled. Engineering Support Services makes MKII Aerospace's mission engineering available as standalone work, scoped to the deliverable you actually need. These are capabilities the MKII team is building around the Goddard program and offering more broadly.
Deliverables
Payload Integration Engineering
Interface definition and control, mechanical and electrical integration analysis, environments, and the fit and functional testing that de-risks integration.
Flight Certification Support
Assembling the analysis, test evidence, and documentation package a certifying authority or program office needs to review a payload for flight.
Design Reviews
Independent PDR/CDR-style reviews with defined entry and exit criteria — a structured second set of eyes on the payload or system design.
Mission Planning
Concept of operations, trajectory and timeline analysis, and the mission plan that ties the flight objectives to a sequence of events.
Launch-Readiness Reviews
LRR material and facilitation — the go/no-go checklist, open-item tracking, and readiness evidence a review board expects.
Safety Documentation
Drafts of the hazard analyses, range-safety inputs, and safety data package required to operate at a launch range.

What are Engineering Support Services?
Engineering Support Services is standalone mission engineering from MKII Aerospace for teams that are flying on their own vehicle or another provider. It covers payload integration engineering, flight certification support, design reviews, mission planning, launch-readiness reviews, and safety documentation, without a launch attached.
Do I have to fly with MKII to use Engineering Support Services?
No. Engineering Support Services is decoupled from MKII's launch services on purpose — you can engage it for a flight on any vehicle, or to prepare an internal review package.
What deliverables can I expect?
Deliverables are scoped per engagement and can include an integration and interface control package, review entry and exit criteria, a mission plan, launch-readiness review material, and safety and range documentation drafts.
Is MKII flight-qualified to certify my payload?
MKII Aerospace provides certification support — assembling the analysis, test evidence, and documentation a certifying authority or program office reviews. Formal certification authority rests with the relevant range or program, not with MKII.
