Can I buy a Goddard Sounding Rocket System for my organization?
Yes — Goddard System Sales is for organizations that want in-house launch capability rather than a launch service. The intent is to provide a complete system: the vehicle, ground support equipment, operating and integration documentation, and a training path for your team.
Who is an in-house system for?
University space-systems programs, government test organizations, and companies that expect a recurring flight cadence and want to own the capability. If you need a single flight or a few flights, Research Launch Services is usually the better fit.
Has the Goddard system flown?
The first Goddard test flight, GT-01, has not yet flown. A system sale today is an early-partner engagement — you would be working alongside MKII Aerospace as flight testing matures, and every performance figure is a design specification rather than demonstrated flight data.
What are the design specifications?
The Goddard Sounding Rocket System is designed for an apogee range of roughly 5 to 150 km, payloads of 5+ kg, a 100 mm payload diameter, and parachute recovery. The Goddard vehicle page has the full engineering overview.
